AC EQUINE · WARWICKSHIRETHE REHOMING JOURNEY
Time to settle. Space to thrive.
Arrival — time to wind down and settle, with at least six weeks of layoff.
Retraining — schooling, hacking, pole work and jumping, typically up to 16 weeks, guided by the horse.
Applications and selection — matching on suitability, followed by time grooming, tacking up and riding in the school and on a hack.
A new home — a purchase or loan agreement with welfare provisions, followed by regular contact and visits.
Our standards: vaccinations kept up to date; vices and previous injuries honestly disclosed; all horses open to a two- or five-stage vetting.
AC EQUINE · WARWICKSHIREFINDING THE RIGHT HOME
A relationship that lasts a lifetime.
We match horses and people on suitability, rather than waiting-list order. Prospective owners spend time grooming, tacking up and riding before a purchase or loan agreement is put in place.
We prefer lifetime loans, maintaining a duty of care throughout the horse’s life. Advice, ongoing contact and regular visits support the partnership. If a placement is not right, our safety net means the horse can return to our care.
